URGENT REQUEST RE: THE OVERSIZED CONDO PROPOSAL for QUEEN at LAING. Ontario Municipal Board Pre-Hearing~ TUESDAY MAY 26 ~ 10AM

URGENT ATTENDANCE REQUEST !! TUESDAY, MAY 26 10:00 am: ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD 655 BAY ST.16TH Floor

WE NEED YOU TO HELP THE COMMUNITY make a difference on our Queen STREET

This coming Tuesday –MAY 26 IS THE DATE SET FOR THE PRE-HEARING CONFERENCE.  The steering committee for the Leslieville Community Coalition Wards 30 & 32 (a.k.a. LCC) has submitted papers for incorporation and will be there with Counsel to request Party status.

It’s VERY important to have as many people from the community as possible at the PRE-hearing conference. PLEASE COME as a show of force that the community is serious about opposing the development AND THAT YOU SUPPORT THE LCC’S EFFORTS.

AT THE HEARING : We need to get as many people as possible to sign up to be participants. The meeting is expected to last 90 minutes or less.

You will not be asked to speak at the pre-hearing.  The Board member will only ask 10 or so people to speak for about 10 minutes each at the actual  hearing IF it goes to a hearing and is not settled at mediation. We are asking you to come to demonstrate that the community is serious about opposing the development.

We thank you for your voices in opposing the size and scope of this development and supporting
Good Urban Design in Leslieville!
